Family

"Family is everything. Thriving together, my wife and I have built a beautiful life for the past seventeen years. We have two intelligent, talented, fun-loving girls who keep us on our toes."

Fitness

"I love starting my mornings at 5 a.m. with weight training, setting the tone for focus and discipline throughout the day. Exploring nutrition strategies that enhance both performance and longevity has become a fulfilling journey of growth, resilience, and self-discovery."

Competitive strength athlete

“I began my fitness journey in 2014 with a simple goal shared by many—lose weight, get healthy, and feel better throughout the day. What started as a pursuit of wellness quickly grew into a passion for competition as I discovered my strength in powerlifting. Training the bench press, squat, and deadlift not only demanded focus on accessory work and conditioning, but also instilled discipline and resilience that carried over into all areas of life.

As my strength increased, so did my speed, leading me to compete in obstacle course races during the off-season. In 2024, I embraced an exciting new challenge—Strongman training—and by January 2025, I had the honor of competing at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Stone lifts, sandbag throws, and wrecking ball holds pushed me to new limits, reminding me that growth comes from testing boundaries and embracing the unknown.”

high Sierra hiker

“I began hiking in 2016 when a close friend secured permits to climb Mt. Whitney—the tallest peak in the lower 48 states. With a brand-new pair of boots and plenty of determination, I completed the hike in a single day and was instantly hooked. Since then, I’ve explored the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Utah, summited numerous 10,000+ foot peaks in the Angeles Forest, and shared unforgettable backpacking adventures with my children—taking them as high as 12,000 feet when they were just 7 and 10 years old. These journeys have given me some of the most meaningful and lasting memories of my life.”

youth
soccer coach

“I began coaching in 2019 for the same reason many parents do—because no one else stepped forward. With no background in ball sports, I leaned on my passion for fitness and discovered the rewarding world of youth soccer. What started casually soon became a calling, and by 2021 I was honored to be invited to lead the local club’s All-Star team, a role I held through 2023.

I coach with an unorthodox style rooted in positivity and simplicity, helping young athletes understand the game in a way that builds both confidence and skill. For me, success is measured not by wins, but by the growth and improvement each child experiences throughout the season.”
